Accent Plumbing has been providing quality service since 1963. We believe in providing our customers with fantastic service coupled with the best material available. We treat our customers well and help them understand the existing issues as well as all possible solutions. With more than 50 years of service, we can handle the most difficult problems. A majority of our business is repeat customers due to our knowledge, capability, integrity, pricing, and honesty.
How did accent plumbing begin
Steve Faller Senior was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1930. Steve was a teenager through World War II. The Nazi party tried to recruit him to fight in the war, but he ran and hid. After the war, the Eastern block of Europe was under the control of the USSR. Steve was unhappy with this communist rule and participated in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
When the uprising lost, he knew he needed to escape, or he could be executed. Steve left Budapest with his two-year old son, Steve Jr. and traveled by foot, bicycle, car, train, and boat in order to arrive to safety in America.
Once he arrived in the United States and moved to Phoenix in 1957, Steve got a job as a plumber, continuing the career he had held in Hungary. Customers would continually call the office and ask for the “plumber with an accent” because of his knowledge, hard work, and integrity.
In 1963, Steve Sr. started Accent Plumbing opening a legacy that has lasted more than 50 years and spanned through three generations. While we might not have that same strong Hungarian accent Steve Sr. was known for, we do continue to hold the same values of competence, diligence, and integrity.
