Established in April, 2000, AIM A/C & Heating Services (Austin Independent Mechanical) is a locally owned and operated company. Founded by Derek and Susan Herring, the company was born out of Derek’s natural mechanical ability and construction background to fix air conditioners. As a firefighter, Derek used his off-time to hone his skills, receiving a Master’s license in 1999. Susan, a former Hays CISD teacher, joined the business and took over most of the day-to-day operations. Since AIM’s first day in business, we have provided the best services and equipment available to our customers..
